Talisman Logging is a family-run log hauling business based in Hinton, Alberta, bringing over 40 years of combined industry experience and more than 25 years specializing in salvage hauling throughout west-central Alberta. We provide reliable, professional hauling services focused on private land, oil and gas salvage, small block volumes, firewood, and cleanups.

Our fleet consists of 10 self-loaders, including both CTL (cut-to-length) and treelength units, designed to accommodate a variety of wood profiles efficiently and safely. We are SECOR certified, members of ACSA, and ComplyWorks compliant, ensuring we meet the highest safety and quality standards required by oil and gas companies. We hold approved vendor status with most major oil and gas operators in the region.

Talisman Logging maintains strong delivery relationships and contracts with nearly every mill in west-central Alberta, including West Fraser (Hinton and Edson), Foothills Forest Products (Grande Cache), Canfor (Whitecourt), Weyerhaeuser (Edson and Drayton), Blueridge Lumber, Brisco Peers, and several smaller private mills.
